Digital Merchandising Associate

We are seeking a Digital Merchandising Associate to own the online presence of our product portfolio at BoilerWAREhouse.com. This position will ensure content and product assortments are polished, accurate, and current while monitoring the site infrastructure to ensure it is operational and optimized. He/she will curate content and images, analyze performance data, and collaborate with various teams to ensure a compelling and seamless online shopping experience. 

The successful Digital Merchandising Associate will make a significant organizational impact by managing the day-to-day online merchandising activities of BoilerWAREhouse.com, optimizing the online customer-facing sales experience and driving revenue growth. 

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to manage the day-to-day digital merchandising needs of the BoilerWAREhouse.com website, including, but not limited to:
  • Updating static images
  • Updating and providing maintenance for landing/content pages
  • Managing content systems for product sliders
  • Adding/removing merchandise from the website
  • Managing product listings, including writing product descriptions, updating pricing information, and managing inventory
  • Setting up and updating new data feeds and catalogs for our sales partners
  • Perform daily quality assurance of the BoilerWAREhouse.com website to ensure any changes or updates made the day prior are reflected correctly, and brand consistency is maintained
  • Ensure all products, descriptions, and details are accurate and uniform across all areas/pages of the website
  • Identify and correct missing product elements, including, but not limited to, price, category, image, and description
  • Improve product page quality through specific enhancements of images, copy, knowledge assistants, and reviews
  • Leverage customer analytics tools to improve customer experience and key metrics (i.e. traffic, conversion, add to bag and bag abandonment)
  • Curate and maintain links for all content to be used in other mediums
  • Collaborate with others to strategize and implement initiatives to improve KPIs including, but not limited to, search engine optimization, traffic, conversion, average order value, and sales
  • Monitor order flow and ensure orders clear through the system, interacting with shipping, IT, and others as needed to resolve issues
  • Monitor e-commerce and digital merchandising trends and technologies, identifying potential new opportunities
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to investigate customer inquiries and resolve e-commerce related issues
  • Perform regular content audits and reporting
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' full-time Digital/Web Merchandising or E-Commerce experience preferred, including content creation and operational/creative website updates
  • 2+ years’ experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & Illustrator)
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices
  • Experience with website editing tools and design, HTML, CSS, and UTM tagging
  • Ability to meet/exceed project deadlines and budgets
  • Extremely tech savvy, data driven, and revenue oriented
  • Exceptionally detail oriented with superb problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, courteous and helpful, contributes to a positive work environment
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in a variety of situations
