I’ve been going to ASHRAE for about 15 years, and I have to say this year’s Atlanta expo was the best show I’ve ever attended. I remember the WARE booth for our very first show was just a small 10x10. Every year we’d get a little bit bigger, eventually working our way up to a 25x30. This year we had fourteen people overseeing two huge booths, including the premier of our Mobile Hot Water Boiler System. Here are some highlights from this year’s show.
One of the things that makes this expo so exciting is getting quality face time with so many of our boiler-industry partners and clients. Many people came up and told me that WARE has become a “must-see” stop. They know we live up to our All Ways Steam slogan by serving everybody in the boiler industry, and make it a point to stop by to see the latest in boiler technology and training.
Our customers have traditionally looked to us for new and used boiler equipment, but our comprehensive rental service has been picking up a lot of steam. Our extensive video library featured on our wareboilers YouTube channel has made us the nation's #1 online resource for boiler education. And when it comes to boiler repairs and maintenance, many rely on the over 40,000 parts available with the click of a mouse at BoilerWAREhouse.
Our Boiler University booth was bustling with visitors every day of the expo. It has fast become one of the nation’s most popular training facilities as it offers collegiate-style lecture and lab training from experienced professionals, including hands-on field training on fully operational equipment. There are classes at all levels, making Boiler U the perfect way to learn how to stay on top of routine maintenance and repairs -- with safety always top of mind.
The star of our booth at this year’s expo had to be our Hot Water Mobile Boiler System. It was great to see so many different service companies stop by to check out a functioning unit. I was a bit surprised how many people said they had no idea such a system even existed. The one thing I heard again and again was how much everybody liked the way we designed the unit and its ease of use -- from pulling it to a location with a pickup truck, to how easy it is to hook up and start once you get it there. We have an entire fleet of these units available from our partners across the country, ready and waiting to service your mobile hot water boiler needs.
Atlanta was a perfect location for this year’s expo and offered some really fine dining and entertainment. We enjoyed Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q with Victory Engine at the Terrapin Taproom just outside the Brave’s Stadium, breaking bread at Maggiano’s with our friends at AUTOFLAME, getting in a few strokes at TopGolf with Parker Boiler, and a great lunch with Power Flame.
It was awesome to see old friends, make new acquaintances, and catch up on industry news. The general tone of the expo was very optimistic for future growth in the year ahead. It was encouraging to hear everybody say they were very busy with new projects including repairs, expansions and system upgrades to increase efficiencies.
